Actually, I was watching the US/Iraq situation for quite awhile after the "main event". I was quite surprised how little attention it was getting despite the fact that there was almost continuous military activity (i.e. bombing, enemy aircraft engagement, etc...). I concluded that the "little war" got upstaged by a "bigger war" and that the media lost interest. I found it rather appalling how the action continued without any high-profile commentary...
