Cbsmarketwatch reporter has a favorable article on Peapod (Aug. 2, 1999 edition) which can be accessed at: cbsmarketwatch.com/archive/19990802/news/current/personal.htx According to the reporter, 6 of 10 items ordered were cheaper at Peapod than at webvan or nearby traditional grocery store in the San Francisco area. I'm curious to know if this is the case at other locations across the country.
