Mike,

Regarding MU.

I maintain my suspicions that a handful of stocks that are among the favorites of short sellers etc... are targeted for squeezes and short covering rallies from time to time. I do not know who, how, or whether it is a coordinated effort, but there are too many rallies that seem highly suspicious for me to assume it is random or related to trades I do not understand.

Options expiration week and just prior are prime time for moves that make no sense based on fundamentals or news.

There's also been a number of S&P500 futures related same day wonders late in the day and at critical market support levels that lend themselves to the belief that someone came in trying to break the support level or rescue it.

I concede there may be a lot of things going on that I am not privy to and there may also be complex trading strategies that create the illusion of manipulation, but sometimes it just makes you say hmmmmn!
