Divicom has its own POD???????????????????????????? cabletoday.com DiviCom Passes POD Test August 16, 1999 C-Cube subsidiary DiviCom said it successfully completed interoperability testing with a prototype Point of Deployment (POD) module, essentially entering DiviCom in the race to develop and manufacture equipment based on CableLabs' OpenCable specs. "DiviCom has been a strong supporter of OpenCable interoperability, with its inherent advantages to cable operators and customers alike," DiviCom President Tom Lookabaugh said. "Interoperability may one day give consumers the freedom to buy digital set-top boxes and integrated digital televisions at electronics retail stores."
