I'm back from day one of my new gig. No telephone and no Inet access (at least today) - bummer.

This has the ring of truth to it. I looked up the Fiber Driver part number and the EM316-G/MX is a Gigabit Ethernet Multimode (fiber) extender module. It is a newer module, - not in the original announcement brochure, but it is in the PDF downloadable document off the Nbase-Xyplex site.

I see no reason to distrust this post, and it is very good to have CSCO as a Fiber Driver customer - it lends just a bit of credibility, don't you think?

Plus the other items are big pluses too.

The Network 3000 are branch office solutions. Not part of our new products, but existing stuff. Here is the link:
