Kash, "The requirement that they not use AThlon is highly unlikely" I am in agreement with you on this one. I have a feeling the deal was lost on motherboard availability. Hell, AMD hasn't even been able to ramp Compaq and IBM so far - why add another one they can't support. As long as they can get Gateway back by Christmas, they wouldn't lose much. <In addition perhaps u can comment on why AMD is not having the motherboards manufactured for Athlon. The current roll out stinks to high heaven.> Share the sentiment - not as strongly - but nevertheless... Not to be an armchair critic but it amazes me that they couldn't do better on probably the most important product launch in AMD's history. Chuck
