Yes, I am a realist. I don't need candles to see that we've had a very rapid rise and it could mean a few down days to follow. What I don't like is people dropping into a thread for a 2 or 3 day period, bashing the stock because they've all of a sudden got a short position, and then disappearing back into the night never to be heard from again. I just find it tiresome and after 3 years of using SI, I should be use to it.

<And, I do know my candles. :)>

I'm sure you do, although I've never really come to terms with their value. People continually spout this theory and they are probably right. Tell me what your candles say about the price in 6 months or 1 year?

I can rattle off 50 times I've traded in and out of companies only to look back 2 or 3 years and see that I missed making big money by not holding.

What inspired you to make your first post to our thread on August 13th? Was it some basic understanding of the company or did your stock searching screen tell you a possible short was here? Had you been watching the development of Phone.com's market and you found fault? Have you got anything besides your candles to add to this discussion?

Personally, I find mindless chart investing boring. I think it's also a good way to loose money, but that's another subject. What I really wonder though is do you research your investments before you buy or short?

Regards,

Mark
