Peter, yes (S) is (Short). Thanks for the analysis.

You are very right that we tend to be too gung-ho on the positives of the stuff we own, and are shy or scared (?) to focus too much, if at all, on the negatives. I guess many see these fora as bully pulpits or, in the words of the great Michael Burke, as stages for pis**ng matches.

Maybe it is my conservative(?) nature, but I look for negatives and discount positives in longs, and would do just the opposite in shorts. Examples include early stage products or secondary uses that may lead to off-label sales of a given candidate.

And thanks for the scoop on GELX and the reminder on PGNS; the latter a clear example that shorts some times do know what they are talking about. For a tragicomic recent example in a different context, take a look at IRID (or would it be IRIDQ now?).
