Joe,
Did you poke around at "Upside"? The "Target:Microsoft" article in particular? The Intel\OS/2 scenario is fascinating. I beta'd OS/2 V3 a few years ago for our company. As you know, it included full blown support for Win 3.1 as far as an interpreter for the machine. In short, IBM ran Windows better than Windows ran natively. Never a "GPF", never a "Fatal Exception at OE"(locked machine" No problems whatsoever. Several Win apps,an OS/2 native app, and a DOS I/O program all running at the same time. How did this excellent, true multi-tasking OS ever fade away? Must be the MSFT summary at the end of your page.

This scares me with NOVL. A superior product ridiculed by an obviously immature and insecure OS. At least Noorda's got his slingshot out again.

R.B.
