It certainly is but it would also be better to not have the flame than to have the flame. The flame does nothing at all useful. It simply wastes energy, increases the cost of the drilling operations, jeopardizes the safety of the crew, and delays the acquisition of valuable information required by the JV. But, on the other hand, it will make for interesting photographs and I suppose it'll help keep some insects away from the drilling rig. JMHOBWDIK.
