Tom, Put your RealPlayer to work! Listen to the quarterly conference calls archived at the REAL.com site under "company" and then "investor relations" if I remember correctly. RG openly discusses the various revenue streams today and future possibilities. (software licenses, consulting, e-commerce, advertising on site) Regarding server software revenue as it relates to usage, my understanding is that the software cost increases as the usage need (number of simultaneous streams) increases. Predicting future (2001 and beyond) revs? You're kidding right? When broadband is commonplace, and 1st generation internet is looked back upon laughingly, well.....use your imagination.
