The problem with Southlake is that the median house cost is over 200K, the median income is around 90 or 100K, and there are no apartments allowed. It's a gated community in the sense that if you're not pretty well-off, forget living here.

Hahaha!! Today I picked up some real estate flyers on my route. These are 30 yr old homes, 2500 sq feet. 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath. One was $450,000, the other was "price reduced" to $375,000. And this isn't a "gated community". We have those a mile or two away, and the homes start at $800,000. Welcome to California....
