"From the Far Side". Shorts from the other side of the tracks..
I did an interesting scan last night with criteria that I knew would only give me a few stocks. Firstly, I wanted to isolate the stocks that had negative earnings, but fair is fair they had to have at least 100% gain in revenue last quarter. I was also very liberal in cash flow wanted companies in the 98th percentile of cash flow. Then I wanted companies who were trading 25% above their 10 day moving averages. Take a look at their 20 day MA's.. I also wanted 'slugger' volatility, no duds here

Now here's the riddle. What maintains a huge cash flow 98th percentile, very high revenue (98th percentile) but negative earnings? but goes up in a few days like most stocks go up 1 one or 2 years?

well.....

I added a few out of side MACD criteria and a Chaikin Oscillator but for brevity I left them out. Yesterday's shorts were technically and fundamentally strong just overbought. These four are really amusing. Had I changed the Quarterly revenues down from 100 and the percentile of sales down from 98th, I would have gotten a whole slew of net stocks..

Its the very high 10 moving average. (enormous if you look at the values next to the percentile)... that gives the small amount of stocks. I did not isolate any sector but put the scan through all stocks. __
