Teltran Completes Channelnet Acquisition

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 17, 1999--Teltran International
(OTC BB: TLTG) today announced that it has completed the acquisition
of Channelnet Ltd. Channelnet, a diversified telecommunications
company located in Manchester, England, specializes in Interactive
Voice Response (IVR) applications, VoIP and premium rate services and
other value added products.
The acquisition of Channel Net not only gives Teltran
International affiliate status in the UK and Ireland within the
worldwide Interline VoIP consortium, it also allows Teltran to
continue negotiations that have been started to establish affiliates
in several Middle East countries as well as Turkey, Cyprus and Greece.
