Hewo, I'm onwy 24 years old. I just had my birthday, like I said, youth is an advantage in this field. Yet being old is not some handicap or something.
Thanks for the inspiration, Linda. Don't get grandiose ideas in my head! :) Right now, I'm screwed because I can't get my act together. My Bachelor's Degree and job are in Accounting, but everything I'm passionate about is Net-centric (which has nothing do with all that), and I've been spending the last couple of weeks hooking up with a freelance writing assignment (almost there) and networking with journalists at Salon's Table Talk and Well.com's Byline forums. Ah, freelance writing, my contacts already tell me it's the surest way to dig yourself into the grave financially and time-wise.
I'd be one of the happiest 24-year olds around if I can actually find a job even mildly related to all the stuff I do in my spare time. Unfortunately, all of that is encroaching on my non-spare time, affecting my job performance. I've cut down my daily sleep to 4-5 hours a day (just like EGRP's Christos Cotsakos!) but I don't know how much more of my life I can outsource without dying. :)
Damn, I regret only taking one Japanese language class. It would be cool to be fluent in Japanese like my mom and her side of the family! :)
GO SOFTBANK! - Netconductor.com "toonces"
>>LOGAN12 wrote: Netwit, mact et all... don't you think Netconductor should go for it? This whole thing is depressing to me too. 28 for goodness sake. Net, he is going to hire a bunch of people to help him...that could be you!
No offence to the others here, myself included, but I doubt he is going to hire a bunch of 40 year olds!
Sorry to get carried away, but hell, who knows? Few people care about being tenacious these days! don't mean to babble.
