zoltan, thanks again here as well, but the articles are quite visible and quite biased (with WCOM's butt on the line). So lu may take the blame in order to keep the network. If they don't and release the real issues, it may lose the business. interesting dilemma.. btw, "A Lucent spokeswoman said the software in question has been deployed successfully on other networks and suggested that the problem was caused by the installation process rather than the software itself." brian
