The Company said that AOL's membership growth is ahead of last summer's pace, and member retention has continued to improve. The membership climb between 17 million and 18 million members took 125 days. So subscriber growth is accelerating. I just don't understand this. I thought everyone was supposed to suddenly leave AOL for NetZero, AltaVista, and MSN. What is going on here. Couldn't be that average internet users actually like the AOL experience and don't mind spending 20-some per month for that, could it? Nah, too simple...
