So, this was the master PR plan Ellen said Xoma was working so hard on over the weekend?

I'm tempted to agree with Texas and Cacaito that Xoma should rescue the day by releasing some data, but I hold back for one reason: the thin and fraying thread of possibility, remote as it seems, that (1) Castello was telling the truth and (2) either Bloomberg misquoted Ellen or she blew it big time.

Either way shareholders are screwed big-time. Nothing new for Xoma, I guess. The only thing that can save the day now is FDA approval. Period. Based on what I know, I cannot agree that release of meaningful data would somehow screw up the BLA. But I have to assume (with rapidly diminishing confidence) that Castello knows more than I do. So rather than allay our anxieties, if you plan to stay long you have no choice but to go along with Castello.
