Ignacio,I appreciate your attempt at explaining yourself. I'm just baffled that anyone would think it important to defend deeply held beliefs and principles in a frivolous forum and in a way that might diminish those beliefs. I can't speak for the rest of my friends, but I have lost the equivalent of my elder son's first year of college this past week! Now THAT is serious!!! We are venting and relaxing! All of us here are educated, bright, articulate, witty people. For any one of us to place himself above any of the others by way of emotional, educational, spiritual or perceptual superiority is laughable. Why bother? You will only call deprecations and invective upon your head. Which of course leads me right back to---motivations...
