Samsung is advertising a lithium-polymer cell that matches Valence's size and capacity specifications (model 65M, as per 1/99 data sheets provided at the shareholders meeting):

sdd.samsung.co.kr

N.B. The cell shown is a hair thinner (6 vs 6.5mm), very slightly different energy density (145 vs 142 wh/kg); same cross-section, mass, and capacity (1000 mAh); they show 500 recharge cycles with 90% capacity versus 80% from the older Valence spec sheet. This could be explained by incremental improvements (as we were told at the sm that Valence had attained over 1000 recharge cycles at 80% already, they just didn't have test data printed up). No other li-poly manufacturer (all using cobalt materials, so far) has shown these energy density specifications, nor have they shown cells of this size. Only Valence has.
