David, it seems strange there's so few posts today. Is everyone in a state of shock re the Ascend/Cascade merger? I agree, Ascend paid too much at 11 times trailing earnings. But then, their stock is valued at about the same, right? Both are high-priced stocks. Ascend is getting more reasonable though as time goes on -G-. DK P.S. - I'm so glad I took my money and ran last Wed. I'm especially glad I bailed out of CSCC at 28-1/4. This Q's earnings at 14-15 cents, when last Q was what, 24 cents? Holy smokes, that is one dead stock. It was a wild ride while it lasted. I think it would have went to the teens today if they had not announced the Ascend bail-out/take-under. DK
