Admission: I sold 40% at 5 1/4.
Observations: Over 10% of the float has changed hands and the price is stable at about 5. Some, (perhaps 2MM?) of today's sales were going to happen no matter what the news was, and probably another 2MM were in reaction to the junior high school PR bungle. We really don't know anything, but Costello was unambiguous about the XOMA's "belief" that the trial showed "clinical benefit" in both endpoints, and it does seem to me that with that utterance he was laying down a marker that he will not be able to equivocate upon later.
Conclusion: I may buy my shares back, even though that will again overweight me in XOMA.
