Chris and All, Today was very funny on CNBS. First, Maria came on when the Dow was up 55 points saying what a wonderful world it was and how she was all choked up about the love and happiness on the floor of the Exchange. Before she could get finished with her Bull-a-Thon, the Dow started down and at the end of all the bullish crap, she had to say, "The Dow is coming back a bit." Loved it.
Then they had a real ship-dit of a tech analyst on. Some goof who didn't know feces from Shinola. He's buying the chip cos. because they went up yesterday, and he is turning cautious on the Internut stocks after they've declined 40-50%. But he still likes AOL while the ISP business is slowly being commoticized. A very scary excuse for a research analyst.
Of course, I shouldn't complain about these maroons. It would be a lousy life trying to pick them off if they had half a brain. <g>
I like the online brokers for puts, especially Ameritrade.
I also like the money center banks, anything to do with the PC, the Dow index, the QQQ, and am trying to figure out when to destroy the Sox again. I am getting much more indexy here as most of these dogs are starting to trade as though they had no fundamentals of their own. |
