WSI's subsidiary, Medianet Solutions Inc., has secured another contract in
Los Angeles to provide complete turnkey Internet services and network
services for the Los Angeles Film School.
The LA Film School is a professional film training centre with a fully
digital state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Hollywood.
Medianet will provide a turnkey solution for the development of its Web
site, network setup, and technology to deliver broadcasts on-line,
e-commerce and on-line registration services, as well as oversee the
installation of the latest in digital technology related to the convergence
of television and the Internet.
The convergence of television and the Internet represents the next phase in
the continuing development of the Internet. This contract further enhances
Medianet's position at the forefront of on-line broadcasts and streaming
video on the Web, and further establishes its presence, with its Sunset
Boulevard office, in the lucrative Los Angeles market.
Further to the company's news release in Stockwatch Aug. 5, 1999, regarding
the company's retaining the Murjan Group to provide investor and public
relations services, it is being retained on a month to month basis for
$7,500 per month, plus certain expenses. The principal of the Murjan Group
is Douglas Murdock.
