Lucky: Let me guess. You didn't get turned around because of this, did you?
"We believe that the Internet will continue to grow at significant rates and will evolve into the next generation public network, superseding and expanding upon many of the functions provided by the traditional telephone network(read here IP/Voice Telephony). This trend will drive the need for new Internet infrastructure equipment that can deliver the high levels of reliability and scalability needed in a public network. We believe we have developed the first commercially available Internet backbone routing platform specifically designed and built to meet these requirements."
Or this:
"Ryan Hankin Kent, an industry research firm, estimates that the market for Internet backbone routers was $169 million in 1998 and is expected to increase to approximately $5.5 billion in 2003." Or perhaps this?
"We sell our Internet backbone routers primarily through a direct sales force and an original equipment manufacturer. Our M40 Internet backbone router is currently used by several of the world's leading service providers, such as UUNet Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of MCI WorldCom Inc., Cable and Wireless USA, IBM Global Services (which has agreed to be acquired by AT&T Corp.), Frontier GlobalCenter Inc. and Verio Inc." -------
Ya gotta love the names of some of their clients, eh? HEH! Still, I will admit I took some of my capital off the table, just to spread around on some other investments I've got going, but the rest I'm letting ride. Need I say $300 or better sounds good to me?
As a matter of fact, I'm gambling that your guesstimate is conservative. ;-) But it does come down to management executing their business plan, so let's see how it goes.
Regards!
