The agent has advised the Vancouver Stock Exchange that the proposed
offering by the company's short-form offering document dated July 8, 1999,
as described in the VSE notice dated July 16, 1999, will not proceed. The
agent, Canaccord Capital Corporation, has advised the exchange that it has
exercised the market-out clause of the agency agreement described in the
company's short-form offering document.
