Lundin in Sudan: President Al-Bashir Acquainted With Activities Of Swedish Petroleum Company Khartoum, Aug. 17 (SUNA)- President of the Republic Gen. Omer Al-Bashir has been acquainted with plans and performance of the Swedish International Petroleum Company which is operating in the field of oil exploration in the country. The President lauded the efforts of the company in boosting the development process in the Sudan, pledging to provide all facilitaties to the company to realize its plans and programmes. This came when President Al-Bashir received at the Republican Palace here Tuesday Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Adolf H. Lundin. Mr. Lundin asserted to SUNA his company's commitment to reach the stage of production within the next two years, appreciating the government's support to the company.
