well, at the very least i would expect the lows to be revisited in light of the dollar index and the utilities and transports. i went about my evil shorting ways today again anyway except for a few DJX calls i picked up during the day. finally pounced on MER. i hope they will collapse with some fervor...i don't buy the takeover talk. a take-under, yes. who in his right mind would want to saddle his balance sheet with all that derivatives trash? CMB is reportedly a conservatively managed institution...i can't see them going for MER and MER probably wants to collapse independently anyway.
