Oh Toto we're home. It was all a bad dream. We're not in the cross hairs of the Communist nukes after all.

Been in them crosshairs for what, 40+ years? If you're still getting stressed over it you must have an awfully stressful life.

Now we can get back to fighting the real enemies - global warming and those who resist campaign finance reform.

I don't know enough about global warming to comment, but campaign finance seems thoroughly in need of reform, and since reforming it is within our power and taking the nukes away from the communists is not, it would seem sensible to devote more effort to the former.

We target them, they target us; what could be more natural? Neither of us wants to pull the trigger. A little common sense and moderation will go a long way toward ensuring that it doesn't get pulled.
