As an aside Jane. McCaw Communications was built by Mr. Mccaw in Denver into one of the major paging networks in the country. His use of alpha pagers and the linking via satellite into data centers was the precursor of cellular. His timing for sale of his company to ATT was impeccable as he saw the proverbial writing on the wall for the decline of paging systems. Since the sale of the company it has languished in the hands of ATT. My uncle was the lead technician for McCaw and left shortly after the sale to ATT because of the gutting of the company by ATT. Mr. McCaw is quick at positioning his firms for the greatest benefit financially even if that means selling them. An investors dream CEO.
