When I was 18 years old, I was dating a guy at an all-male college. I can't remember exactly how this played out--but he said something about "sitting on the toilet." I pretended to be horrified, and said, "SIT on the toilet, you SIT on the toilet! No! How awful! How unsanitary. You SIT on the toilet, I don't believe it!" He looked at me and said, "What do you do?" I said, "I squat. I'd never SIT on the toilet, that's disgusting!" After a few minutes of talk he said, "Okay, show me." So I did. I walked into the stall and perched up there on the toilet seat like I'd been doing it all my life. He believed me, thought I was weird, but he fell for it. Afterwards I dissolved into gales of laughter. It was one of my best-ever jokes. (Yes, sick sense of humor.) |
