My bothers and sisters in Christ, please offer a short prayer tomorrow for my wife and I, as we celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary. We are indeed blessed by the Holy One, with our 8 children, 6 who are surviving, with our 18 grandchildren, with good health and especially with a strong faith in the love and goodness of our Lord. You would be touched by the sight of 4 to 8 of these grandchidren, gathered around in a circle each morning, holding hands while saying their morning prayers together as a family at our summer beach house. Or, if off to fish in a nearby pond for "Mr Bass" or "Mr Carp", by their substituting "our daily fish" in the recitation of the "Our Father"! God bless, yours in Christ, EddieMacG |
