OK-- first screw-up and it's not even the day of the dinner I made the strawberry salsa tonight to get a jump on tomorrow. ANd I did just like it said- I've even MADE THIS DAMN RECIPE BEFORE.. and added two serrano(sp) peppers- and the stuff is so hot, it took the skin off my lips. I kid you not. I can't serve this! So I tried to pick out all the little green pieces of pepper that I had so carefully and finely chopped, and my fingers got burned, and it didn't do any good anyway, I guess the juices are what gets in the food. So I added some sugar. Now it just burns your mouth sweetly.
