Transcript from conf call re 'beta test':
Question: "I believe they (Hanil) have a company relationship with Samsung, in some way. Could the 'beta test product' you were talking about in Asia, be their phone, Samsung's phone?"
Answer: " Now, we --- (Lev stopped himself). No, our beta test is not with Samsung... But... And I can't... you know, as a matter of policy, we don't go around, throwing customers' names around during these conference calls. But there are... the Korean subsidiary has GOOD relationships (emphasis Lev's) with a *number* of high-volume battery buyers; they anticipate they won't have any difficulty selling batteries. We intend to back them up in their commitments, to 'second source' them, if you will, and meet any volume requirements that they can't meet...."
Read into it what you will. Lev threw up a smoke screen, and clearly stated so, and did not say that Hanil did not have a relationship with Samsung.
I'll enjoy seeing the proof in the pudding, when I buy my Samsung phone with a Valence cell, this fall. |
