I think that even if AG raised the anti by a half
a point, after the markets slide a bit they'll
rally to make new highs..... but, I don't think
they'll raise 1/2 point anyhow...BWDIK

I would have to believe that AG et al already has
their decision made, I don't think they trade the
rates based on one rally or another... I don't
think AG would want to have his name associated with a blood bath on wall street as his final official act as chairman...

So, what's it all mean? I think these markets will reach for new highs, and successfully, no matter
what AG does in reality.....

I can appreciate AG's preoccupation with the
nagging threat of inflation, but to use his own
words, we are not an island... the United States is currently enjoying incredible economic growth
without raging inflation... this is probably due to the fact that we are not an island, but in the
midst of other countries that are now actually
threatened with deflation... I suspect those
external factors continue to moderate our inflation picture and keep it in check..... that's my 2¢
worth.....BWDIK

My Best Regards.
