Tench, AMD will have a MP chipset that will be server tuned very soon (q4 probably). Steve PS. I notice that anand didn't mention which networks cards, disk subystems, etc. he is using. If he is using the stock nix in the Athlon review system, that could be the entire source of the problem. It is my understand it was a rather 'cheap' nic and is not well suited to server performance.
