Catcher, From LT on Yahoo: I am too cheap to register to be a member of the Silicon Investor boards. A question that was posed was. "does MSFT own any GMST?" Not directly, but they own 7% of Thomson, which in turn owns less than 7% of GMST. If anyone can cut and paste this to the SI board, please feel free to do so. MS, Alcatel, DirecTV and NEC each took a 7.5% stake in Thomson. In addition, Gemstar has a JV with MSNBC called NewsGuide. Regards Stew
