Oh, right. Cross-synapses ~ zzzzappp!
I still don't care much for The Testament. I know why you like it, the description of the rivers and travelling way back away from civilization, among the Indians, can't remember was it Brazil? That part was very well done. Oh, and the part about where the guy lived when he came back, and was helping the minister build stuff, that was well done, too. I don't know what it would be like to try to rebuild your life after cracking up from serious alcoholism, but I imagine that for a highly evolved person, it could be as intellectual as that.
I'm probably not the right person to ask. I have been going through a phase of only reading non-fiction for a while now. Fiction seems so weak compared to non-fiction, so artificial and contrived. Funny thing is, at some point I'll just *click* and prefer fiction again for a while. No idea what makes the change. |
