Bill, just so you know, I don't play index options or anything like that. The shares I own are in one gold explorer/producer with multiple good properties, with proven and expanding resources, and considerable gold already sold at $385/oz. It's a long term asset play which is also nice short term simply on the basis of expected 1997 earnings.

So in short, I am interested in the price of gold, but by no means obsessed with it. While everything else tanked today, this company went up 5%, in keeping with its stable base of shareholders.

A very risky time for everyone, it appears.
