I noticed an article in News.Com the other day where McNealy of Sun was talking about how they are supplying GM with servers and hardware for their E-business

CPQ has been taking share from Sun in the web server space at a huge rate - they took 1st place from Sun in late 97 and now have more than twice Sun's share. They are also starting to hit Sun's high end business with Tandem machines configured to do e-business. Sun has probably been losing business to CPQ at GM. GM previously used CPQ servers extensively but not for e-business. I think Sun will be playing an increasingly defensive game there.

BTW DELL has not grown web server share much over the last few years and is behind Sun, IBM and HP in that space. No one has even half of CPQ's share and DELL is at about 1/3 of CPQ in that market.
