Okay...By the way, long ago I decided to supplement some heavy reading in the scholastics (and Muslims like Avicenna and Averroes) with a bunch of reading in Medieval history. In college, what was your main interest in the period?

From 800 and the crowning of Charlemagne to about 1200 CE, with a special interest in the 1100s in England.
