He's an organic chemist who thinks like: 1. an organic chemist 2. a physiologist 3. an operations executive That is, he translates his science to direct real-world issues like half lives, toxicities of metabolites, margins for any given molecule, etc. Us biologists really, really need guidance like this. Without it, we'd be the blind squirrels on occasion.
