<<Mr. Brinker said something about the DOW being important this weekend, but I didn't listen carefully or hear much of the show so I don't know why he NOW thinks it important.>> He said that if the Dow returned to the area of the previous highs (within 1% or so) without the S&P and the NASDAQ doing likewise, then that would be a negative factor for the continued health of the bull market. I believe that is the importance of the Dow that people are referring to. Actually, it is the S&P and the NASDAQ which are important, because it is their failure to confirm that is at issue.
