A so-called analyst issued a buy reco on VIGN the day before lock-up expires. Being a cynic, I have the following questions. 1. Can an analyst issue a public buy reco, but a private sell reco to their clients so they can bail out before the collapse? 2. If the answer to #1 is legally no, do they do it anyway by saying the sell reco is just short term?
