TG:" shakytown "
...yeah, everything's cool, Tommy. The quake was centered up in Marin this time. Houses in TheCity are mostly wood-framed structures that handle quakes pretty good - we learn not to put crystal and china on shelves or, anything above your bed. Homes built on the hills usually have rock underneath - but up around the north/east side of town, the ground is mostly filler-earth, and it can really shake, rattle and roll, man!
When we get quakes, Tommy - what we really worry about is FIRES, man. Seems like SFO is always burning somewhere, and with all these wooden houses so close together to one another, FIRE is the number one big concern in San Francisco.
Thanks for asking. How you doing in Florida-Paradise, man ?
