Granola, I haven't noticed the change in volatility. It has been very normal for this stock to have a wide trading range each day. This was true even when the stock was 50 pre split ,but it has become much more pronounced since the run up this year. It seems to come with being a high tech. Also, there is a lot of positioning in the stock at the start and end of each day based on my informal analysis of the daily stock trading range. I think this is due to buy and sell programs that happen at the beginning and end of each day. To me, the abnormal day is when there is a tight trading range.
