Sorry to be "a Pain", but, The meaning of "sometime in the near future" is THE CRUX of my question about divergence.

How many closes = "near future", or

Is THE END OF the "near future period" triggered by the start of a short term change in market direction such as a pullback to test the current correction lows? Or

If we get a bear market, is the divergence deleted in the next bull market when all 3 averages exceed the July 16 highs ?
