John, IMO Kosovo, Chechnia and Kashmire have much in common...All are impoverished, desperate corners of the World with tragic history of incessant vicious cycle violence....This is of course a fertile ground for Islamic Fundamentalism....however most of the fervor is directed against fellow Moslems...(Egypt, Afganistan, North Africa, Sudan, Kurdistan, former Soviet Republics (Usbekistan, Tadgikistan) and so on...
The weakness of Moslem Societies making them non-compatible with any other religion/thinking is not just fundamentalism....but lack of Democracies in the Islamic World... |
