Robert, I also have 3.x & 4.1 programs which will grant supervisor equivalency to all users currently logged onto a system (as long as the supervisor/admin is currently logged on). I guess this satisfies

>If you can hack a 3.x or 4.x server remotely without the admin >password, don't tell us! I don't want to know! But give Novell a call. >They'd love to hear from you.

NOVL already has a published patch for this hack. I guess the bigger question is, does your sysadmin? ;)

If you don't like this one, it is also a relatively simple matter to export the bindery to a text file (3.x only), then run one of the standard cracker programs against it. If you have access to a fast computer, *and* any of your supervisor/admin accounts have a password that even remotely looks like something found in a dictionary, then you will have supervisor access within a few minutes.

Seriously, system security is no laughing matter, and attacks can be felonious. No environment is immune, as was and IS my point.

Happy investing.
