Hello everyone! With so many people publicly announcing their plans to attend the upcoming AGM and now that most of us have received our packages from the company, I thought that this PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT might be in order.

I know that this is an intelligent group and most of you probably already know this, but in my conversations with other investors (not necessarily GLE) I know that not everybody is aware.

If you plan to attend the meeting and you intend to vote in person at the meeting MOST of you will need to FILL OUT YOUR PROXY CARD.

This does not apply to people who actually have the share certificates in their own name, but the vast majority of us have their shares in "street name" (a segregated account at your brokerage). And for those who hold their shares in their RRSPs, the shares are registered in the name of the Trustee for the registered plan and NOT your name. If you are unsure, talk to your broker.

In the shares are not registered in your name you must send back your proxy card and FILL IN YOUR OWN NAME as the person appointed to be authorized to vote at the meeting. Forewarned is forearmed as they say ... I have seen too many shareholders disappointed after showing up at meetings expecting to vote only to find out they can not. Don't be one of these people!

Cheers!
